Job Description:

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Chemist to join our dynamic research and development team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing new chemical processes, optimizing existing formulations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Development:

Lead and conduct research projects aimed at developing new chemical products and improving existing ones.
Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to advance product development.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in chemistry and integrate innovative approaches into projects.
Process Optimization:

Develop and optimize chemical processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and sustainability.
Collaborate with production teams to scale up processes from the laboratory to manufacturing.
Quality Control:

Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct regular testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all laboratory practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, processes, and safety protocols.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to achieve project goals.
Present findings and progress to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Qualifications:

Education:

Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree with significant experience will also be considered.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or academic research, with a focus on chemical product development.
Proven track record of successful project management and process development.
Skills:

Strong knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry.
Proficiency in analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with green chemistry and sustainable practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
