Job Description:

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Web Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. You will work closely with our design and content teams to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:

Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Convert design mockups into fully functional WordPress sites.
Site Management:

Maintain and update existing WordPress websites.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
Customization and Integration:

Customize WordPress themes to meet client specifications.
Integrate third-party plugins and APIs to enhance site functionality.
Develop custom plugins and functions as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with designers, project managers, and content creators to ensure cohesive project delivery.
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure high quality and functionality.
Implement best practices in code management and version control.
Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
Proven track record of developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Skills:

Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
